State Representative Tim Butler (R-Springfield) announces he will be postponing traveling office hours scheduled for Delavan on Wednesday, July 22.
In the wake of tornado damage in the area late last week, Rep. Butler will be re-scheduling the traveling office hours in the near future.
“Meeting area residents regarding state issues is critically important to me. I visited Delavan on Friday to tour the damage with Governor Rauner and saw the devastation firsthand. This week, I reached out to city officials and they agreed that it would be helpful to postpone this event to ensure that cleanup resources are not interrupted by my efforts,” Rep. Butler said.
Rep. Butler went on to say, “constituents may continue to contact my District Office regarding any state issue in the mean-time. I look forward to continuing to serve Delavan area residents as well as all the 87th District.”
Rep. Butler’s District Office can be reached at 217-782-0053.
